We always say never judge a book by its cover; however, the cover is the first thing that attracts us to buy that book isn’t it? Similarly, it's applicable when we apply for a job. An interview application is an opportunity to impress. First impressions count. A concise and compelling cover letter is your first chance to stand out and be considered a strong candidate amongst tough competition. The resume acts as a bridge between you and the prospective recruiter. Hence the importance of a resume can never be underestimated. It is up to you how you want to be remembered by the hiring manager. Since companies do not have a big amount of time to interview each and every candidate, they require resumes from candidates to select the best ones to work with.
